LacPET®, granting of French patent

LacPET®, a new solution for the packaging industry

 

Expert in the synthesis of polymer polyester, Tergal Industries has developed and commercialize since the end of the year 2005 a modified PET resin, called LacPET®, which presents an adjustable light barrier property. This material is already used for the dairy industry on the French and Spanish market; Tergal Industries is ready to develop the business of this activity on the European and world market.

 

According to this development, Tergal Industries has deposited an international patent pending on the 14th of April 2005 for the LacPET® technology. Almost 3 years after, "l'Institut National de la Propriété Intellectuel, INPI" has granted the LacPET® patent in France that has been published in the Official Journal on the 30th of November 2007.
